Project per borough

London Borough of Barking & Dagenham 

  • The Future Focus Network – weekly physical activities and monthly coaching and mentoring sessions for young people in Barking and Dagenham. 

London Borough of Bexley 

  • Michael Streete Foundation – to fund a Fitness Coach Mentor for one year to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of young people. 

London Borough of Brent 

  • Sunahs Crisis Team – to establish a twice-weekly mixed sports club including football, basketball, and badminton for young Muslim women in deprived areas of Brent. 

London Borough of Camden 

  • Samuel Lithgow Youth Centre – to fund a Holiday Programme for two years, providing a range of activities including sports, music, dance and team building for 200 disadvantaged young people. 
  • The Pirate Castle – to contribute towards staffing and overhead costs for two-years, to engage more than 2,600 children and young people in water-based activities (including kayaking and paddleboarding). 

London Borough of Ealing 

  • MEM Academy CIC – to increase sport and mentoring services for vulnerable young people in the most deprived areas in Ealing, with core funding to support rent and staffing costs for a business development manager. 

London Borough of Enfield 

  • Holistic Education and Sport Support Services CIC – to deliver the Young Kickers sports initiative, providing a safe and positive environment for 250 children in Enfield to engage in physical activities, build social skills, and boost their confidence. 

London Borough of Hackney  

  • Crohn’s and Colitis Relief – to provide free, safe and accessible swimming sessions for 40 teenagers with Inflammatory Bowel Disease/Syndrome. 
  • H.O.P.E. – to deliver a fitness programme for underserved young people from the Morningside Estate. 
  • Hackney Laces Community Club – to fund core costs to strengthen the football club’s operations and sustainability, to deepen their impact on women and girls for years to come. 

London Borough of Haringey  

  • Haringey Basketball for All – to deliver free basketball, volleyball, netball sessions and sports coaching qualifications for young people in East Haringey, and to support the three delivery organisations to establish a more formal partnership. 
  • Haringey Play Association – to pilot partnership working to deliver play activities targeting girls (aged 10 to 18) and also families at the Sommerford Grove Adventure Playground. 

London Borough of Havering  

  • Sports and Life Skills CIC – to run weekly football training sessions and a series of tournaments for children and young people with Down Syndrome in Havering, plus expanding their programme of volunteering, specialist training and coach mentoring. 

London Borough of Hounslow  

  • Speak Out in Hounslow – to provide inclusive walking football sessions for young people aged 18 to 24 with learning disabilities. 

London Borough of Islington  

  • Copenhagen Youth Project – to deliver the transformational Football 4 Life project for 120 young people, involving football activities and wellbeing sessions such as how to deal with stop and search requests. 

London Borough of Lambeth 

  • London Basketball Association – to run a range of basketball sessions, including female-only sessions, at Black Prince Trust, targeting underserved and inactive young people aged 14 to 24 from marginalised communities. 
  • The St Matthew’s Project – to fund an Assistant Project Coordinator for three years to develop a bespoke coaching programme for vulnerable children and young people with complex needs. 

London Borough of Lewisham 

  • Carers Lewisham – to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of Young Carers in Lewisham, giving them a break from their caring responsibilities through holiday clubs and monthly support sessions. 
  • Thai Boxing Community Centre – to engage young people from ethnically diverse backgrounds in free, regular Thai Boxing sessions in Lewisham, to support their physical, mental and social wellbeing. 

London Borough of Merton 

  • Wimbledon District Woodcraft Folk – to develop weekly climbing sessions and provide a safe environment for socialising, focusing on women and girls and LGBTQ+ young people. 

London Borough of Newham 

  • ANKH Place CIC – to provide physical activity and wellbeing sessions for two years for young people aged 14 to 25 in Newham who are less likely to be active. 

London Borough of Waltham Forest 

  • Project Zero WF – to grow their physical activity provision by employing a Sport Coordinator and additional coaching roles, to promote social inclusion and reduce antisocial behaviour.   
  • Queens Boundary Community – to support two years of sustained activities including football and archery in the local park, along with signposting young people to additional support such as youth mentoring programmes, to reduce youth based antisocial behaviour. 

London Borough of Wandsworth 

  • Active Living Support CIC – to deliver activities including Boxercise and Dancercise for young people with special educational needs or from low-income and ethnically diverse backgrounds in Lambeth and Wandsworth, plus core funding to support project management and staff costs. 

London Borough of Westminster 

  • Step Up 2 Fitness – to make a range of activities more accessible for young women and girls and provide training opportunities for future young leaders to support the sustainability of their organisation.  
Multi-borough projects
  • FUTURE STARS – to run activity sessions that will improve the mobility and physical wellbeing of young people with a range of disabilities in Ealing, Harrow, Hillingdon and Hounslow.  
  • Human Rights Solidarity – to deliver an 18-month community support and integration project for young immigrants in Greater London, including monthly breakfast sessions, learning sessions and hikes. 
  • London Inclusion Sports Academy – to provide sport and physical activity as health interventions for children and young people with special educational needs, disabilities and those in Hospital Schools in Barnet, Brent, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, Islington and Tower Hamlets. 
  • Queens Park Bangladesh Association – to provide a range of physical activities, essential skills training and mentoring workshops for more than 150 children & young people from predominately Bangladeshi & Arabic speaking communities in Brent, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster. 
  • RAaW Foundation – to run weekly activities like dance and martial arts plus wellness workshops in Brent, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Westminster, for 180 young people who experience barriers to being active due to mental health challenges and lack of opportunities. 
  • Sendtivate – to deliver their two-year SENDability Sports project, tackling inactivity among children and young people with special educational needs in Bexley and Greenwich, through low level contact sports and sensory activities. 
  • South London Renegades – to continue running basketball and American Football sessions for another two years for young people in Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark. 
  • Spencer Lynx – to deliver hockey sessions in schools with high levels of pupil premium in Lambeth and Wandsworth, plus additional opportunities for 100 children to take part in a free two-year programme of weekend hockey training and fixtures. 
  • Swimunity CIC – to continue delivering the free Saturday Learn-to-Swim programme, giving marginalised young people the opportunity to learn how to swim and become water confident in Brent, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster. 
  • The Outrunners – to continue delivering the free Outrunners Youth Running, Movement and fitness groups and wider programme of social support for young people in Hackney and Newham. 
  • The Running Charity – to sustain their running and mental health service for young people experiencing homelessness and complex needs, across fifteen London Boroughs. 

Foundation Grants Round 2

Project per borough

London Borough of Barking & Dagenham 

  • Barking and Dagenham Youth Dance Ltd – Funding supports BDYD and FMC to sustain and expand their sports and dance programmes over two years.
  • Chain Reaction – Funding supports the delivery of two 3-day creative workshop programmes for 11–18-year-olds, combining dance, movement, and physical theatre to boost physical activity and wellbeing. The workshops also use theatre-based techniques to enhance employability skills.
  • East Stars Football Club – Funding supports the expansion of football and Zumba sessions for marginalised young people in Barking. The grant sustains activities, mentorship programmes, and emergency first aid training, empowering young people from Black and ethnic minority groups while fostering employability and addressing social challenges through sport.
  • Ekota Academy Ltd – Funding supports expanding sports activities and 1-to-1 mentoring for young people from deprived communities in Barking, Dagenham, and Redbridge.
  • Youth League (UK) Ltd – Funding supports the expansion of gender- and culture-sensitive dance sessions for 30 young people aged 8–17, mainly from Black African and Caribbean backgrounds.

London Borough of Barnet 

  • The Parochial Church Council of the Ecclesiastical Parish of Edgware – Funding supports the delivery of the Fun 2B Fit project, engaging underserved children and young people in sport and physical activity alongside wraparound support. The project includes hiring qualified coaches, securing premises, and employing a Youth Leader to build capacity and improve long-term sustainability.

London Borough of Bexley

  • Bexley Snap – Funding supports the delivery of a diverse range of motivational, tailored sports activities for disabled children and young people in Bexley.

London Borough of Brent

  • BANG Edutainment – Funding supports Dela Move, a programme of after-school dance and drumming workshops for children with special educational needs. Delivered in partnership with Manor School Brent, the project also provides wraparound family advocacy to help children access wider local opportunities.
  • Track Academy – Funding supports Girls Move, a year-round programme for young women and girls aged 11–18 in south and central Brent. Using athletics, movement, and fitness activities, the project supports around 100 participants from low-income backgrounds to improve personal and social development.

London Borough of Croydon 

  • St Francis Church, Monks Hill – Funding supports the ongoing delivery of a Football Academy and mentoring programme for young people on the Monks Hill estate and in the wider local community. Sessions run weekly during term-time and are led by a dedicated Youth Worker.

London Borough of Hackney 

  • Voyage – Funding supports physical activities delivered through Saturday and holiday programmes aimed at engaging 120 Black young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

London Borough of Haringey 

  • Haringey Shed – Funding supports the delivery of inclusive dance and movement activities for children and young people in Haringey, with a focus on those with disabilities or special educational needs.
  • Selby Amateur Boxing Club – Funding supports the development and delivery of a boxing programme aimed at improving the physical health, wellbeing, and employability prospects of children and young people. It enables extending the programme’s reach to 31% more underserved participants. 

London Borough of Harrow  

  • FitMind – Funding supports specialist fitness training for young people with mental health challenges. One-to-one and small group sessions, delivered by an expert trainer in partnership with local schools and the Young Harrow Foundation, help improve mental health and wellbeing through targeted physical activity.
  • Ignite Youth – Funding supports a weekly basketball and mentoring project for at-risk young people in Harrow, aged 11–19 (and up to 25 for those with additional needs). Through structured sessions, mentorship, and refreshments, the programme promotes basketball, healthy lifestyles, and personal development.

London Borough of Hounslow

  • London Borough of Hounslow Swimming Club (LBHSC) – Funding supports the delivery of six free swimming sessions over two years for children aged 5–18, including those with disabilities.

London Borough of Kensington & Chelsea  

  • Mo1 youths – Funding supports Mo1 Youths, a North Kensington charity working with young people at risk of school exclusion and those who are NEET.

London Borough of Lambeth  

  • Dwayne Simpson Foundation CIC – Funding supports the Youth Boxing Awards Intervention Project, which uses boxing to engage young people facing challenges such as anger, anxiety, trauma, and the impacts of violence and knife crime. The programme provides a safe space and structured support to improve wellbeing and resilience.
  • Loughborough Junction Action Group – Funding supports the ongoing operation of Grove Adventure Playground, located in one of London’s most deprived areas. LJAG runs a free after-school and holiday service, with provision for children with SEND.
  • QPA in the community CIC – Funding supports the continuation of mentoring, football, multi-sport, and strength and conditioning sessions for young people, allowing QPA to operate for another two years.

London Borough of Richmond upon Thames  

  • MTV Youth Hampton – Funding supports experienced Children & Youth Workers, including certified personal trainers and sports coaches, to deliver a ‘getting active’ initiative for 300 young people aged 7–18+.

London Borough of Lambeth 

  • London Basketball Association (£33,750, Foundation grant) – to run a range of basketball sessions, including female-only sessions, at Black Prince Trust, targeting underserved and inactive young people aged 14 to 24 from marginalised communities. 
  • The St Matthew’s Project (£37,296, Foundation grant) – to fund an Assistant Project Coordinator for three years to develop a bespoke coaching programme for vulnerable children and young people with complex needs. 

London Borough of Tower Hamlets 

  • Isle of Dogs Sea Cadet Unit – Funding supports a youth development programme for 11–18 year olds, providing opportunities to learn nautical skills, build confidence, and develop leadership through structured activities as part of the Sea Cadet Corps.
  • Wapping Youth FC – Funding supports a programme empowering 25 young women aged 16–24 to become qualified football coaches. Participants gain recognised qualifications and hands-on experience, with the aim of leading community sessions and progressing into paid employment.

London Borough of Sutton

  • Onside Soccer – Funding supports a football engagement programme that increases participation in sport and physical activity among children and young people in London. The programme focuses on those from low-income families, as well as asylum seekers and newly arrived migrants.
  • The Centre for Environmental Initiatives (known as EcoLocal) – Funding supports the enhancement of an inclusive cycling programme for children aged 7–14, improving access to physical activity for those with additional needs. 
Multi-borough projects
  • Activities 4 U – Funding supports a Community Project Manager role critical to the success of youth sports initiatives. 
  • ADDINGTON AFRO-ETHNIC HEALTH PROMOTION GROUP – Funding supports physical and wellbeing activities for 100 Black African and Afro-Caribbean young people, including refugees and young carers, from deprived Southeast London communities. Funding also covers a fundraiser role to boost organisational sustainability.  
  • Artistry Youth Dance – Funding supports core costs to increase organisational capacity in changing perceptions for young Black dancers. This includes business and strategic planning, developing a fundraising strategy, and strengthening AYD’s artistic and financial sustainability. 
  • Arts Trust Productions – Funding supports an annual programme delivering 362 hours of sport and physical activity for 6–24 year olds in the low-income Thamesmead community. 
  • Ascension Eagles Cheerleaders – Funding contributes towards rental costs as AEC transitions from a rent-free space to a commercial gym. The new facility offers opportunities for growth and allows AEC to reach and support more young people. 
  • Association QMC School of Capoeira – Funding supports Capoeira classes for young people aged 6-24 who face access barriers. 
  • Awaited Archer – The project enhances and scales up a weekly two-hour archery club, providing four free lessons followed by fee-based sessions. Led by qualified instructors from ethnic minority backgrounds. 
  • Barnet Panthers – Funding supports Barnet Panthers to build skills and capacity by increasing staff numbers—including female coaches and volunteers—employing a wellbeing coach to oversee mentoring and player enrichment, upskilling staff through training and qualifications, and creating a free school football programme. 
  • BeLifted Now CIC – BeLifted supports underserved London girls aged 10-17 through after-school sports sessions and a holiday club, alongside wraparound support such as employability training, nutrition, coaching, mentoring, and peer support. Funding covers a part-time fundraiser who secures grants to sustain the project.  
  • BILLY YOUTH ENGAGEMENT PROJECT – Funding supports activity-based work that empowers and diverts young people from trouble by building resilience, improving life chances, and providing safe spaces to develop skills and peer support. 
  • Coin Street Centre Trust – Go! London funding strengthens Coin Street’s youth sports and fitness programmes by upskilling staff to ensure quality and safety. It also enables expansion of girls-only sessions, including football, yoga, and gym. 
  • Community Sport Academies CIC – Funding supports Football Unites to tackle anti-social behaviour in London by offering additional football sessions for young people aged 6–25. The programme promotes emotional well-being, life skills, and trusted relationships, building on its proven success to expand lasting positive impact. 
  • Daisies Kids Club – The project engages 85 young people aged 12–16 in volleyball, hockey, canoeing, kayaking, and a multi-sport discovery programme.  
  • DanceWest – Move it London, created with SEND children and young people at DanceWest, delivers free dance classes and holiday clubs to improve their physical and mental wellbeing by reducing barriers to physical activity. 
  • Dream Believe Achieve (DBA) CIC – This project delivers innovative 1:1 and small group workshops designed by and for young people in high-risk areas. It uses physical activity to promote positive coping skills and improve mental wellbeing over a two-year period. 
  • EastHands – This project provides sports activities for 10-19-year-olds in Tower Hamlets, funded to cover specialist youth workers, premises, venue hire, and activity costs. 
  • Football Journeys – This project provides core funding to build Football Journeys’ fundraising capacity and skills, diversifying income sources to meet growing service demand. 
  • Kids N’ Action – The Netball Evolution is a two-year programme that develops skills, teamwork, and competitive spirit in aspiring netball players, enhancing their physical and mental well-being and progressing them from beginners to skilled athletes. 
  • Lev Echod Cancer Care – In the Same Boat provides water and multi-sport activities for pediatric cancer patients, young carers, and survivors with cancer-related disabilities. The project promotes equal access to sports, offering one-to-one mentoring from coaches to build skills and confidence, alongside Paralympic options and events that bring joy. 
  • Made with Care – The Ladies Be a Sport Project supports economically disadvantaged young and teenage mothers in London facing physical or mental health challenges, including those linked to pregnancy and post-natal depression. The project ensures all women, regardless of financial status, have access to sports opportunities and quality pathways to well-being. 
  • Magpie Dance – Funding supports the recruitment of a Project Manager, ensuring continuous opportunities and enhanced experiences for young people with learning disabilities. 
  • MahaDevi Yoga Centre – Funding supports  staff salaries, enabling MahaDevi to expand yoga services for children and young people with additional and complex needs, including yoga sessions and a work experience programme.  
  • Newark Youth London – Funding supports delivery of weekly sports sessions targeting four distinct groups of children and young people in Tower Hamlets and Newham. Sessions include girls’ cycling, mixed boys and girls volleyball, disability football and multi-sports, and mixed football, basketball, and cricket. 
  • Positive Role Models CIC – Funding supports the continuation of a sports programme in Haringey, offering basketball and mentoring to disadvantaged and at-risk young people.  
  • RollaDome All Skate Limited – Funding supports the employment of a Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, train, and manage volunteers from diverse local communities. The purpose is to boost delivery of skating programmes co-designed and led by children and young people from minority and marginalised groups. 
  • Safe Haven Basketball – Funding supports London’s only basketball club for young people with learning disabilities, enabling continued growth of membership and expansion of weekly coaching sessions across three boroughs during term time, providing more opportunities for young participants. 
  • St Lawrence School of Football – Funding supports a football-based project engaging NEET young people at risk of anti-social behaviour, gangs, and crime. The programme provides positive role models, mentoring, and pathways into employment. 
  • Starlight Sports CIC (Rising Stars Tennis Academy) – Funding supports the enhancement and expansion of tennis provision and wrap-around support for local children and young people from underserved groups, especially girls and those with disabilities. It also funds resources to explore solutions for accessing affordable, year-round indoor facilities. 
  • Steel Warriors – Funding supports the Youth Programme, reaching over 50 young people affected by gangs and knife crime. It enables free calisthenics sessions in street gyms led by experts, providing life skills, career readiness, and positive alternatives through physical training and goal setting. 
  • Sycamore Trust UK – Funding supports Project Phoenix, aiming to improve wellbeing and reduce loneliness among autistic children and young people in Barking & Dagenham, Havering, and Redbridge. 
  • Teen Action – Funding supports the development of culturally appropriate physical activity for Orthodox Jewish young women. The project enhances and expands youth-led provision to make it more responsive, integrated, and sustainable. 
  • The O.T.M.S FOUNDATION LTD T/A Saving souls hub – Funding enables the continuation and expansion of sports and mental health programmes for young people across multiple London locations, reaching more communities and offering holistic support. 
  • This Girl’s Ability CIC – Funding supports a sports programme and core operations for girls and young women aged 8–24 with disabilities, living in Havering, Barking & Dagenham, and Redbridge, promoting inclusive physical activity. 
  • Unique Community Charity – Funding supports the launch of a movement class within the youth theatre programme, offering an engaging, creative route to physical activity led by a trained physical theatre practitioner. 
  • Urban Studio Sessions – Funding enables a free weekly skating programme (inline, roller, and skateboarding) with mentoring for disadvantaged young people in Wandsworth, Lambeth, and Merton. It also supports training two young instructors through Skateboard GB. 
  • Youth Empowerment Solutions Ltd – Funding supports a cross-borough, youth-led football league for 200 BAME young people aged 15–18, combining sport, mentoring, mental health support, and digital media skills development. 

Foundation Grants Round 3

Project per borough

London Borough of Barking & Dagenham 

  • Excel Women’s Centre Ltd – Supporting 200 young women and girls aged 4-24 over 24 months through diverse sports activities like yoga, futsal, badminton, and netball, aiming to improve physical health, confidence, and social connection in a deprived borough.

London Borough of Brent 

  • Connect Stars – A women and girls multi-sport programme designed and led by young women, offering dance, yoga, football, and leadership development. Built on an evidence-based approach, the project includes mentoring, informal education, and volunteering to reduce inequality in Brent.

London Borough of Camden

  • Camden Shorinji Kempo Martial Arts Club – This one-year martial arts and wellbeing program supports 50 LGBTQIA+ young people affected by mental health challenges, domestic abuse, or homelessness. It promotes empowerment through martial arts, self-defence, meditation, and a safe, inclusive environment in Camden and Greater London.
  • Camden United CIC – Supporting 150 young people aged 16–24 in Camden, this project uses football to reduce youth violence, build vocational skills, and improve safety. Activities include monthly career talks and mentoring check-ins to inspire and guide participants.
  • Hawley Amateur Boxing Club – Offering free non-contact boxing sessions for 11–24-year-olds from low-income backgrounds, especially NEET and zero-hour contract workers. LGBTQIA+ representation among coaches promotes inclusivity in the boxing community.

London Borough of Enfield

  • Joe Morris Legacy Limited – Providing structured boxing activities combined with mentoring and weekly employability workshops focused on life skills such as CV writing and interview preparation.

London Borough of Greenwich 

  • Senfocus – Introducing a two-year adapted triathlon (‘SEND-athlon’) for SEND children involving cycling, swimming, and running, combined with a food bank and healthy cooking demonstrations by SEND specialists.

London Borough of Hackney 

  • Rise Community Jiu-Jitsu CIC – This project looks to embed Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a new and positive physical activity for young people in the Homerton and Frampton Park area. It builds on a successful pilot programme across summer 2024 where a clear demand for further Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu activities emerged amongst young participants and their trusted referral partners.
  • Shakespeare Walk Adventure Playground – Offering consistent outdoor physical play for children aged 6-16, with a focus on girls, SEN children, and those excluded from school. The project fosters resilience, social skills, and healthy risk-taking through play.

London Borough of Haringey 

  • Hoops for Hope – Led by Skills Development Training, this two-year basketball program empowers 100 migrant and refugee youth aged 12-18 in Haringey. Running from January 2025 to December 2026, it focuses on skills development, inclusion, and youth empowerment through basketball.

London Borough of Hounslow  

  • Feltham Community Development Association – Delivering table tennis, football, badminton, and basketball sessions to children and young people from low-income households, promoting fitness and positive social interaction.

London Borough of Kensington & Chelsea

  • Baraka Community association – United Through Sports empowers 12–18-year-olds in North Kensington to design, lead, and organise their own sports sessions, fostering leadership skills and a self-sustaining youth empowerment cycle.

London Borough of Lambeth  

  • Community Education Foundation & Lyncx (CEF Lyncx) – SHARP offers safe space for young people to engage in multi-sports/physical and skills development activities during the school holidays. The programme offers a variety of workshops, including sessions on leadership, bicycle maintenance, volunteering, and work experience.
  • Community Sparks Change Ltd – Using sports like football, boxing, and dance, this project fosters equity and opportunity through mentoring, personal development, and crime prevention for children, families, and the community in Lambeth.
  • upCYCLE LDN – Supporting young people in Angell Town, this project offers bike repair workshops, cycling lessons, and group rides. Funding maintains a Community Hub where mentoring sessions take place.
  • Young people Matter – This project offers a range of sports and physical activities after school and during the school holidays. It targets low-income families in Lambeth, particularly children and teenagers, aged 4-18, offering them access to structured physical activities and healthy lifestyle education without any barriers. The programme features boxing, football, multi-sports, dance, and fitness sessions designed to engage young people.

London Borough of Merton  

  • South Mitcham Community Association – Offering football, dance, strength and fitness training, family yoga, and holiday activities, this project targets high childhood obesity and promotes accessible physical activity to improve long-term health for local families.

London Borough of Newham  

  • Be Heard As One – This 18-month core funding supports organisational capacity building and sustainability for BHAO, continuing its sports-based mentoring in deprived communities and enhancing Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning, fundraising, and staff training.
  • ReviveFM CIC – Focused on South Asian girls, this football project offers a culturally sensitive and supportive environment led by female coaches, promoting physical health, confidence, and inclusion.

London Borough of Southwark 

  • Inspire Walworth – Offering weekly free football sessions for 13-18-year-olds in Walworth, this project is part of the 2Inspire youth project, providing safe spaces, activities, support, and signposting.
  • Parentskills2go CIC – This project engages children and young people from Southwark’s marginalised communities in sporting activities, improving their health and wellbeing and reducing the isolation that too many feel.

London Borough of Waltham Forest 

  • Forest YMCA – Free weekly sports sessions for 11-19-year-olds (up to 21 for SEND) including basketball, table tennis, fitness games, and dance. YMCA youth workers provide life advice and wellbeing support.

London Borough of Wandsworth

  • Living Truth CIC – Providing access to football, tennis, tag rugby, netball, athletics, and holiday trips to activity centres, this project encourages families to engage in regular physical activity to boost fitness and wellbeing.
  • Uffo Athletic and Leisure Group Ltd – This project supports young people from low-income households in the most deprived areas in Wandsworth. It offers athletics, running, and walking sessions which are delivered by qualified coaches.
  • Wandsworth Amateur Swimming Association Disability Swimming (WASADS) – Supporting tailored swimming lessons for disabled children and young adults, including bursaries for low-income families to promote inclusion and sustainability.
Multi-borough projects
  • Achieved Dreams – RideAhead! runs a 24-month cycling program for 120 disadvantaged children aged 9-13 in Hackney, Haringey, and Barnet. Weekly sessions focus on cycling skills, maintenance, safety, and engaging activities. 
  • Autism Voice Limited – Funding an 84-week outdoor multisport and play program for 135 neurodivergent children aged 6–24, promoting inclusion, wellbeing, and physical activity primarily among global majority communities. 
  • Calthorpe Community Garden – Supporting outdoor sports activities and healthy living education for young people aged 7–24, addressing unemployment, poor living conditions, and social isolation. 
  • Capital Kids Cricket – This project delivers weekly sports activities, bi-monthly life skills workshops, and mentoring across five pupil referral units (PRUs) in Waltham Forest and Westminster. 
  • Casual Ballerz CIC – Project Safety Net is designed to improve relationships with exercise, mental health, empowerment and employability within young people from underserved communities. It offers bespoke high-quality sessions which include life skills mentoring. 
  • Cuban Boxing Academy CIC – Free weekly boxing sessions combined with conditioning, strength training, yoga, and breathing exercises. The project promotes physical health, mental wellbeing, and builds confidence and soft skills through holistic support. 
  • Dalmar Heritage and family Development – Funding supports a two-year sports and mentoring programme for 400 children and young people aged 7–18, primarily of Somali heritage. Delivered during school holidays, it combines basketball, football, and boxing with interactive workshops on mentoring, peer support, and group discussion. 
  • EVERYONE ON BOARDS – This project offers free access to skateboarding, mentoring workshops, and vocational training for underserved young people in London, with a focus on getting girls active. It also offers monthly workshops focused on the cultural aspects of skateboarding, as well as mentoring for young people who are interested in a career within the action sports industry. 
  • Fitness 4 kidz CIC – An educational health and fitness program using multi-sports and fitness exercises to engage young people. It teaches the benefits of a healthy lifestyle through practical sessions and nutrition workshops. Participants learn how food impacts their health and wellbeing. 
  • Future For All – This project promotes physical activity among underprivileged teens aged 12-16 by providing affordable, gender-specific exercise, dance, and fitness classes four times a week after school. Addressing cultural and religious needs, these sessions fill a gap where such inclusive and accessible activities currently do not exist or are unaffordable for low-income families. 
  • GET OUT – This project delivers surf therapy programs, camps, and day trips designed to support children and young people from disadvantaged areas in London—particularly Tower Hamlets, Lewisham, Newham, and Hackney—over a two-year period. The program addresses growing demand across London for accessible water-based sports. 
  • Innovai Events CIC – This project delivers indoor, adaptive rowing sessions for young people aged 4 to 24. It aims to engage young people, particularly from low-income and underrepresented backgrounds, in a non-traditional sport that fosters physical activity, confidence, teamwork, and personal development. 
  • Let’s Unite for Autism – This project aims to provide inclusive multi-sport activities for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). It offers SEND children and young people a year-round, safe, and inclusive environment where they can thrive physically, socially, and emotionally through the power of sport. 
  • Lighthouse – supporting women through stormy times – This sports initiative is aimed at improving access to physical activity for children and young people from single-parent households, led by mothers who have left abusive relationships. The project will offer a range of tailored sports activities to meet the needs of these children and young people, including water sports, fitness sessions, swimming, and cycling. 
  • London Basketball Association – This project delivers a 52-week development, mentoring, and training programme for 250 disadvantaged young people, using a three-stage approach: Engage, Develop, and Challenge. In Stage 1, two weekly basketball sessions engage 230 marginalised young people. Stage 2 offers vocational training to 30 NEET participants through accredited basketball-related courses, alongside Duty of Care and Safeguarding qualifications. Stage 3 supports 35 NEETs with volunteering and internship roles across the London Basketball Association, fostering real-world experience and career development. 
  • London Inclusion Sports Academy – Go! Go! Ninja! 2025 is a youth-led, immersive laser tag experience designed with inclusion and trauma-informed practice. It offers underserved young people alternative pathways into learning, friendship, and employment. Delivered with specialist educators, it combines mobility, play, and purpose to deepen impact. 
  • London Thunder Basketball club – This project offers gender-neutral basketball training throughout the school term and school holidays. It offers young people the chance to take a Level 2 Basketball England coaching course and to gain experience working with a coaching team. There is also an option to gain refereeing experience. 
  • MINORITY MATTERS LTD – This project offers a range of free, community-led sporting activities aimed at engaging physically inactive and disengaged young people—primarily Somali and other ethnic backgrounds—aged 11 to 24.  
  • Oxygen – This project provides activity-based mentoring for disadvantaged young people at risk of disengagement or involvement in violence. It combines one-to-one and group mentoring with sports to support personal development. The project builds on an existing referral network across two London boroughs. 
  • Parentskills2go CIC – This project engages children and young people from Southwark’s marginalised communities in sporting activities, improving their health and wellbeing and reducing the isolation that too many feel. 
  • RE N-GAGE – This project uses mentoring and sport within a safe space to support ‘at-risk’ young people and their families, helping them identify and achieve their goals and ambitions. The primary objective is to re-engage young people in full-time education and guide them toward a positive future by harnessing the power of sport. 
  • Sir Stanley Matthews Foundation – This project delivers a coaching mentorship programme for young adults and free weekly sports sessions for children. It trains around 20 young people aged 14-24 to become community sports coaches. The project targets those from deprived backgrounds and minority groups. 
  • SMSC In the Community – This project offers girls-only basketball, involving a Community Engagement Activator who provides coaching and pathways to competitive sport, as well as establishing a network within local schools and children’s services. 
  • STEP NOW Global CIC – This project is a football development initiative which goes beyond physical fitness by helping participants develop vital transferable life skills essential for their future careers. Mentorship is delivered by an internal specialist mentor who is also a football consultant, alongside a qualified UEFA B coach from Peak Perform and a Level 3 personal trainer from Primed Athletes, who work on ball technique and strength & conditioning. 
  • Suvai Deaf East Community – This project is specifically designed for Deaf British Sign Language (BSL) users. It offers a comprehensive fitness program that includes guided walks, exercise classes, and group activities, all conducted in BSL to ensure full accessibility. The program aims to improve physical fitness, enhance mental wellbeing, and reduce isolation among Deaf individuals. 
  • The Community Hub (TCH) – This is a 42-week program designed to empower 60 marginalised Jewish young women from Hackney and Haringey through physical activity, skill development, and community building. 
  • The Elfrida Society – This project aims to provide accessible and inclusive sports sessions for young people aged 16 to 25 with learning disabilities and neurodiversity. The key activities include weekly tennis, gym, cricket, and football sessions. These activities are specifically adapted to suit the varying needs and abilities of the participants, ensuring that everyone can actively engage, regardless of skill level. 
  • The Wipers Foundation – This project provides specialist one-to-one mentors to help 30 young people with SEND, learning difficulties, and/or disabilities access sport-related activities. Activities include multi-sport options like table tennis, wheelchair badminton, football, and swimming. 
  • UINCAP – Funding supports ongoing capoeira classes and wraparound activities for children and young people aged 4–24 from low-income and disadvantaged backgrounds. The programme promotes physical fitness, emotional wellbeing, and youth leadership through sport, dance, mentoring, and family support. 
  • West London Penguin Swimming and Water Polo Club – Led by West London Penguin Swimming and Water Polo Club with key partners, this project promotes water polo for children from low-income and minority communities in Newham, Hackney, and Tower Hamlets. It tackles barriers like limited access to equipment, facilities, and affordable programs. The initiative aims to increase inclusion in aquatic sports beyond swimming lessons. 
  • Whitestar FC – This project aims to help reduce gang territory in Haringey, Enfield, Tottenham, and Hounslow by using football and multi-sports to encourage positive relationships with peers from different post codes. 
  • Young people Matter – This project offers a range of sports and physical activities after school and during the school holidays. It targets low-income families in Lambeth, particularly children and teenagers, aged 4-18, offering them access to structured physical activities and healthy lifestyle education without any barriers. The programme features boxing, football, multi-sports, dance, and fitness sessions designed to engage young people.

London Borough of Barnet 

  • Hasmonean High School for Boys – To resurface a worn asphalt pitch, transforming it into an all-weather sports facility. Designed with input from the community, the upgraded space supports football, hockey, and other sports, increasing access for students and local groups.

London Borough of Croydon

  • GLF Schools – Meridian High School – A new after-school youth club to provide students with a safe, inclusive space to relax and engage in activities. Co-designed with students, the club will be supported by qualified youth workers and offer unstructured social time and tailored programmes.

London Borough of Haringey

  • Harris Academy Tottenham – To upgrade its dance studio and transform unused outdoor space into an Olympic lifting gym.

London Borough of Harrow

  • Shaftesbury High School – To resurface the playground and upgrade it into a functional Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA). The improved space is open to families and local groups outside school hours.

London Borough of Tower Hamlets 

  • Manorfield Primary School – To install a temporary swimming pool in the playground and upgrade changing facilities, increasing access to swimming lessons across the wider community.

Running, Walking, and Cycling Grants

London Borough of Brent 

  • NOV Way CIC – The Youth Run Club energises local 15- to 24-year-olds with free, weekly 1.5‑hour evening sessions throughout the year. Participants complete a comprehensive 6‑week introduction covering running basics, nutrition, strength & conditioning, sustainable living, and kit customisation. The initiative continuously invests in volunteer training and community outreach as it enters its second year.

London Borough of Haringey

  • Wheely Tots – Weekly inclusive cycling activities reaching at least 60 underserved young people aged 4-18 in Northumberland Park and Broadwater Farm, both within 10% most deprived wards in England.

London Borough of Redbridge

  • Muslimah Sports Association (MSA) – Three walking programmes—each combining six weeks of photography walks with six weeks of PT-led workout walks. Alongside these, participants attended bi-weekly confidence and mindfulness workshops.

London Borough of Tower Hamlets

  • TrailFam – TrailFam is positioned at the cusp of bridging urban disconnect with nature through trail running, aiming at the holistic development of young individuals, primarily aged 11-18, from underserved backgrounds in London. The Go! London grant is envisioned to be a cornerstone in amplifying our reach and impact, bifurcated into project and core funding.
Multi-borough projects
  • ASRA CLUB – To open up running chapters in South and West London, with the aim of engaging groups of young girls and women who had not attended ASRA sessions so far.
  • Cycle Sisters – This project offers a supportive and inclusive environment for Muslim girls to participate in cycling. Led by instructors and role models from within the Muslim community, each session reflects a strong Muslim identity.
  • Higham Hill Hub CIO – Increasing access to cycling for young people in East London, particularly those in underserved communities. Bespoke school-based sessions were designed to meet the specific needs of students—ranging from BMX sessions for small groups to tailored support for young people with special educational needs.
  • M2: Where Movement and Mindfulness Meet – M2 is a ready-to-launch programme for girls in Years 3–6 that combines movement and mindfulness to build self-confidence and self-esteem. Funding has enabled delivery within schools, making use of familiar and trusted community settings. By embedding the programme in local communities, the project increases accessibility and ensures more families can benefit from M2’s empowering impact.
  • Pedal Power – Funding was used to purchase high-quality tricycles for each of Pedal Power’s session venues, enhancing the overall experience for participants and encouraging longer, more enjoyable rides.
  • The Leaside Trust – Leaside Bikes offers accessible cycling opportunities and outdoor activities for young people in north-east London’s Lea Valley marshes. The programme includes cycling skills, bike maintenance, and safe group rides in a supportive peer environment. Complementary activities like paddle-sports and orienteering promote long-term fitness and active lifestyles.

  • British Somali Community Centre – to embed a football programme and safety hub for young Somali, Muslim and refugee women and girls in Camden over the next three years, to build a legacy of female empowerment, leadership and community cohesion. 

London Borough of Croydon 

  • Rising Stars Support CIC – to reach more than 200 vulnerable young people in Croydon through a mixed martial arts and cognitive behavioural therapy programme. 

London Borough of Haringey  

  • Jacksons Lane – to develop a successful circus and physical activity youth programme for the next three years in nine schools in Haringey, to open up the creative industries to disadvantaged young people. 

London Borough of Havering  

  • You and Me Counselling – towards the three-year ‘Reboot’ project, delivering sports activities and mental wellbeing sessions such as group therapy and one-to-one psychotherapy, to improve the mental and emotional wellbeing of children, young people and families in Havering. 

London Borough of Tower Hamlets 

  • Maslaha – to deliver a programme of fencing, creative workshops and coaching activities for young Muslim women in Tower Hamlets. 
Multi-borough projects
  • Community Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers (CARAS) – to support refugee and asylum-seeking young people in South London to be active – at an individual level by supporting access to sport and activities, and at a sector-level by creating a best practice guide to ensure sports programming meets their needs. 
  • Fight4Change Foundation – to scale up the ‘Beat the Count’ programme to deliver non-contact boxing sessions and wrap-around support in four Pupil Referral Units/Alternative Education sites in Lambeth and Southwark. 
  • The Change Foundation – to deliver the free Young Mums Active Community programme in Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Lambeth and Southwark, supporting young mums through physical activity and mentoring sessions. 
  • UKLatin Community CIC – to develop two ‘Sports Academies’ in Lambeth and Tower Hamlets to train more than 200 young people from Latin and other diverse communities in sports and nutrition.
