Accessibility policy

Accessibility statement
Go! London want to offer a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, no matter their technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website.

We have tried to develop this site in line with key available accessibility standards and guidelines.

We have aimed to comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) to the greatest degree we can.

Code
We have created the components of this site to include all the basic aria-labels and markup necessary to make them accessible to users of screen-readers and other accessibility tools.

Copy
We have complied with the Mayor of London editorial guidelines to the best of our ability.

Colours
We have chosen colours in our designs so that the site is accessible for people who are visually impaired or colourblind.

Layout
We use cascading style sheets to control presentation, which means content is well structured and easy to access using assistive technology.

Typography
We have chosen a font (Poppins) that is legible for a wide group of users. We have carefully thought about how to use text in the site. We have considered line lengths and considered the space between lines to enable a good reading experience.
